On the south slope since 1927
Where time
takes a midday rest
At 1,250 metres, on the south-facing slope above the valley, four generations of our family have cooked what meadow, forest and farm provide. No frills, just time.
If you’d like to stay a while: three rooms scented with Swiss pine. If you’d like to take something home: the farm shop ships cheese, honey and Jakob’s pine schnapps.

Wonderful setting, warmly run. The cheese dumplings are the best for miles – we come back every year.
Peace, mountain views and a breakfast to die for. Theresa and her team leave no wish unfulfilled.
Rooms in Swiss pine – the scent alone is worth the trip. You sleep like a log.
Great food and very friendly. The terrace fills up at weekends – booking recommended.
Our small wedding celebration in the parlour was a dream. Down-to-earth, lovingly done, simply genuine.
